how to stop hazard lights from flashing

Any ideas? When I came out later this afternoon, I notice the hazard lights were flashing (quite quickly). Reset all screens, locked, unlocked, pushed the hazard light button, nothing. Sometimes pushing the hazard switch will turn it off and then sometimes it does nothing. It is 4:15 now whereas we should have been in Monterey by now.
